social media distractions. No logins, no passwords, just your
family.
🌱 Getting Started: The Basics
Tap the + Add button to create
a new person. Then, tap the edit icon (the little pencil) on their
card to add notes and life events like births, marriages, pets, and
children. As you link people, your family mesh grows!
🤝 The Sourdough Starter: Share & Collaborate
This is the magic part. You can create a family "starter file" for
others.
• Go to
More > Save Data to export
your private .json file.
• Send that file to a
relative (email, text, whatever you like).
• They open the app
and use More > Load Data.
The app will merge their file
with yours, not replace it!
Now they can add that side of the
family no one remembers and share the updated file back. It's a
private, collaborative family tree.

Tap the View button to get
different perspectives:
📋 Sort:
Order everyone by A–Z, Age, Upcoming Birthdays, or Anniversaries.
🗓️ Calendar: A full
calendar view of all future birthdays and anniversaries. Never miss
one again!
📈 Reports:
Charts like generation breakdown, births by month, event types, age
distribution, and anniversaries by month.
🛠️ Handy Tools (in the "More" Menu)
🎨 Themes: Change the color
and toggle Dark Mode.
📋 Copy Data: The copy icon on
a person's card copies a clean text summary to your clipboard.
📤 Export to CSV: Exports your
data to a .csv for spreadsheets.
❤️ Share a Wish: On a
birthday/anniversary, a share icon appears to send a ready-made
message.
✍️ Add, Edit, and Events
Edit any person to update names, notes, parents, and life events.
Add children via Childbirth events. When adding a
Marriage or Divorce, the app
offers to add the matching event to the partner to keep both records
synced. Pets count too 🐾!
💾 Data & Backups
Save Data: Export your full Mesh as a private JSON
file.
Load Data: Merge another file into yours (people
with the same ID are skipped).
Export CSV: Get a spreadsheet version of your
people and events.
Activity Log: Review recent adds, edits, and
imports.
Data Health: Run a quick check for missing info.
